US Vice President James David Vance said that his country is holding direct talks with the Houthis, Vance told journalists, APA reports.
“We are constantly in contact with our partners in the region, including Saudi Arabia and other parties affected by the developments taking place in the region. This is an issue that the US administration is working on very actively.
We have also held direct talks with the Houthis themselves. Therefore, we really believe that we have the situation under control. This is a very fluid and dynamic situation. However, we will continue to monitor the situation and ensure that the interests of Americans are protected in the best possible way,” Vance said.
