The US will provide Ukraine with intelligence for long-range missile strikes against Russian energy infrastructure, APA reports citing The Wall Street Journal.
According to the report, country officials are calling on NATO countries to provide similar support.
According to the newspaper, citing unnamed sources, permission to provide additional intelligence to Ukraine was granted shortly before Trump's message on the social network, which stated that Ukraine could return all territories occupied by Russia.
It is also reported that the Trump administration is considering providing Ukraine with weapons that would allow it to strike more targets inside Russia.
This concerns the delivery of cruise missiles such as the Tomahawk and Barracuda, a final decision on which has not yet been made.
