The health of Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan has reportedly deteriorated significantly in recent weeks, Hraparak newspaper reports.
According to the newspaper, the Armenian President did not participate in events marking the anniversary of the October 27 terrorist attack and also missed several events held as part of the COP17 climate summit in Armenia.
In addition, the ceremony for "The Prince Talal International Prize for Human Development 2025" was held under his patronage, but Khachaturyan did not attend this event either.
At the same time, the Armenian President was also absent from yesterday's ceremonial reception for the Queen of Spain and the Princess of Saudi Arabia.
"According to our information, he is rarely at his residence. Khachaturyan has been ill for a long time. People have begun to notice changes in his appearance," the publication wrote.
Note that media reports previously claimed that the Armenian President was suffering from an oncological disease and had undergone lung surgery.
