29 October 2026 13:05 (UTC +04:00)

The massive drone attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Moscow during the Russia-Africa summit once again emphasizes the need to continue the special military operation, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, APA's Moscow bureau reports.

The Kremlin spokesperson described the massive UAV attack on Moscow during the Russia-Africa summit as strange.

According to him, it is strange because a world-class event is being held in the Russian capital.

"Thank God, our air defense systems are working effectively. This once again shows that the special military operation must continue. It must continue so that we can protect ourselves against such threats," he said.

Note that the Russia-Africa summit is being held in Moscow on October 28-29. Due to the summit, mobile internet has been shut down in central Moscow, within the Third Ring Road, for three consecutive days.
