The difference between money transfers received by Azerbaijan and those sent abroad amounted to $830.5 million in January–September this year, APA-Economics reports.
This was stated in an announcement by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
According to preliminary data, the positive balance of money transfers increased by 70% compared to the same period last year.
Note that this figure stood at $751 million in January–August. Thus, the positive balance for the nine-month period was $79.5 million higher than the eight-month figure.
