Azerbaijan allocates nearly AZN 1.8 billion to liberated territories in nine months

In the first nine months of this year, AZN 1 billion 761.4 million was spent on the reconstruction and restoration of Azerbaijan's liberated territories during the reporting period, based on cash payment request documents submitted by contracting organizations for relevant projects, the Ministry of Finance said, APA-Economics reports.

Of this amount, AZN 891.8 million was allocated to the construction and reconstruction of water management, land reclamation, heating supply, transport, and utility infrastructure, AZN 692.5 million to financing social projects in education, healthcare, and culture, and AZN 177.1 million to expenditures on the construction and repair of defense, law enforcement, and other facilities.
