Starting January 1, 2027, the technopark registration process will be carried out in a simplified form, Chairman of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) Farid Osmanov said at a media briefing dedicated to legislative amendments in the field of technology and innovation, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, enterprises and ICT companies registered in the technopark will be exempt from income, profit, dividend, property, and land taxes for a period of 20 years.

"Our main goal here is to further strengthen the ICT sector in the country, diversify the non-oil sector, create a favorable environment for ICT enterprises in our country to attract more investment, and promote the country's ICT exports."

He emphasized that the established legislative framework provides for simplifying registration procedures in the technopark and expanding its scope. Thus, in addition to software development and system integration, companies engaged in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, data analytics, as well as the export of ICT training and consulting services will also be eligible for technopark resident status.
