“None of our objectives are based on supporting or arming any particular force,” US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said, while commenting on the issue of using Kurdish militants against Iran, APA reports.
He also commented on damage to civilian facilities as a result of airstrikes against Iran. The minister said that civilian facilities are not their targets.
“Of course, we would never target civilian sites,” he noted.
Hegseth added that the attack on a girls’ school in Iran is currently under investigation.
