"I am pleased to inform the entire international community that peace has been achieved between Armenia and Azerbaijan," Armenian President Nikol Pashinyan said during his speech at the UN General Assembly, APA reports.
"Donald Trump played a decisive role in this process. His commitment and consistent steps made it possible to realize what previously seemed impossible," Pashinyan added.
He also recalled that Ilham Aliyev and US President Donald Trump nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize.
"Because we saw with our own eyes that he is truly committed to the idea of peace," Pashinyan emphasized.
