Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will discuss the Palestine-Israel confrontation and full implementation of the Comprehensive Joint Action Plan (JCPOA) on Iran's nuclear program at the meeting to be held in Reykjavik, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Rybakov said in his interview with RBK, APA reports.
“This will be the first tet-a-tet meeting between the minister and Secretary of State. The agenda of the negotiations include both bilateral relations and international issues. Recently, there is a decline in bilateral relations. When it comes to international subjects to be discussed, these include the situation around the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the Middle East as a whole, the progress of negotiations on a settlement of Iran's nuclear program, the return of the parties to the Comprehensive Joint Action Plan and the full implementation of the Plan. Taking into account that chairmanship of Arctic Council passed to Russia, of course, views on the Arctic will also be exchanged,” noted Russian Deputy Foreign Minister.
