Armenia has frozen its membership in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and sees no possibility of resuming its participation in the organization's activities, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan told journalists in parliament on November 5, News-Armenia reports.
"We froze our activities in the organization a long time ago, but we do not obstruct its activities. At the same time, we see no prospect of returning to activities within the CSTO," Mirzoyan noted.
Mirzoyan also recalled that the CSTO Charter does not provide a mechanism for excluding a member state from the organization's activities.
