Azerbaijan is set to determine how medical services will be financed during martial law and states of emergency, APA reports.
This is reflected in a proposed amendment to the Law "On Medical Insurance."
According to the draft, it is proposed to allow the relevant expenses to be financed from the state budget if there is a shortage of funds for compulsory health insurance financing due to a sharp increase in demand for medical services and expenditures of the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund in cases involving the declaration of martial law or a state of emergency, as well as the introduction of a state of emergency regime of a social nature.
