The United States will not withdraw until Iran is completely defeated, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said during a press conference, APA reports.
Providing details about the military operations, the minister said that the ultimate goal is the complete defeat of Iran, noting that steps are being taken gradually to achieve this.
“We will not relent until the enemy is totally and decisively defeated, but we do so on our timeline and at our choosing,” Hegseth told a joint press conference with Gen. Dan Caine, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs.
