High humidity on August 18, 19 and 20 made the weather hotter. Imran Mammadov said maximum temperature in Baku and Absheron peninsula on these days was 14 degrees, and not higher 42 degrees in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and Aran regions.
The weather conditions observed on August 19-20 were similar to those observed on July 24-28, and that’s why these days are not considered the hottest days of summer. Imran Mammadov also said that this year’s indicators had not surpassed the record. He said due to the process of global warming July, August and first days of September had been very hot in recent years.
