Azerbaijani Diaspora collectives participate in Russian week festival

“Russian week†festival started in Russian Exhibition Center, APA’s Eastern Europe bureau reports.
The festival held at the initiative of Moscow mayor’s office will last till June 14. The representatives of Azerbaijani Diaspora in Russia took part in the festival yesterday. Folklore ensembles and music collectives presented national music examples, sounded the poems of Russian poets. The head of Russian Orthodoxy and the heads of other religious communities performed at the opening of the festival and delivered speech on international and interreligious role of Russian language. Interactive museum-restaurant will operate near the Exhibition Center during the festival and Russian meals will be presented here. The CIS member-states attendees will demonstrate their cooking ability in museum-restaurant. /APA/
