“Though all the boundaries of all municipalities are determined in Azerbaijan, some municipalities give orders on neighboring territories,†chief of Azerbaijani State Land and Cartography Committee Garib Mammadov told journalists, APA reports. He said that municipalities even sell lands in the territory of oil mine, belonging to oil company.
“When we analyze the citizens’ appeals concerning these lands, it becomes clear that the municipalities illegally sell lands. We can not give documents to such lands. It causes disagreement and people claim that we want money. There were about 1,000 cases law violations in the past year. About 600 of the violations have been eliminated. Fines were imposed on 400 cases,†he said. /APA/
