Azerbaijan reconstructs water supply and sewer system in Ganja and Sheki

Azersu OJSC has begun to implement project on reconstruction of water supply and sewer system in Ganja and Shaki.
Azersu OJSC information and public affairs department told APA-Economics that the project considers reconstruction of water supply and sewer system, drill artesian wells, reconstruction of main pipelines and distribution network, construction of sewerage network and purification facilities.
The project on reconstruction of water supply and sewer system in Ganja and Shaki costs EUR54.9m and should be implemented within 32 months.
The project is funded by Germanyâ€™s KfW bank, State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland (SECO) and Azerbaijani government.
KfW Bank has loaned EUR37.3m credit for 10 years, SECO granted EUR10m and Azerbaijan invested EUR7.6m in the project. /APA-Economics/
