The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the exchange of information and assistance in tax requirements between the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Revenue Service of the Republic of Latvia, signed in Baku on January 16, 2025, has been approved, President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree in this regard, APA reports.
According to the first section of the decree, once the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) mentioned in the document comes into effect, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan is responsible for ensuring its provisions are implemented. Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan shall send a notification to the Latvian government confirming that the necessary domestic procedures for the MoU's enforcement have been completed.
