"Azerbaijan is ready to continue cooperation with partner countries and achieve all goals together," President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said at the ceremony of signing of Memorandum of Understanding for encouraging cooperation among Bulgartransgaz (Bulgaria), Transgaz (Romania), FGSZ (Hungary), EURSTREAM (Slovakia), and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Sofia (Bulgaria) on April 25, APA's correspondent assigned to Bulgaria reports.
"Less than 3 years after the restoration of independence, Azerbaijan signed the contract that would later be called the "Contract of the Century" and for the first time invited foreign oil companies to work, produce oil and explore in the Caspian Sea. So today we're running a project of the 21st century, and it's growing. Therefore, Azerbaijan, a reliable partner in the field of energy, is ready to continue our path and achieve all our goals," said President.
