The abolition of the visa regime for Azerbaijani citizens holding ordinary passports is an important development, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations Samad Seyidov said at today’s parliamentary session, APA reports.
The committee chairman said that usually diplomatic and service passports are discussed: “Azerbaijani citizens can freely travel to nearly 90 countries with diplomatic and service passports and to 23 countries with ordinary passports. We will soon see this number increase again. Azerbaijan’s prestige, role, influence and capabilities are now at a completely different level.”
