The Israeli army has announced the withdrawal of Golani Brigade troops from southern Lebanon, told in a statement issued by the Israeli military, APA reports.
The IDF released body-camera footage showing Golani Brigade combat team troops leaving the security area in southern Lebanon for a period of rest after seven months of operations.
According to the provided information, the forces operated under Division 36 during their deployment in the area.
The troops operated in the area that the Israeli army calls a “security zone” in southern Lebanon, including around the Beaufort Ridge, and recently completed an operation in the Litani River area.
According to the Israeli army, more than 900 sites said to have been used by Hezbollah were destroyed during the operations.
