There are unconfirmed reports that one of the pilots of a Flydubai passenger plane flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv attempted to crash the aircraft by sharply descending and directing it toward the ground, while the second pilot prevented him from doing so, local media said, APA reports.
According to the reports, which are based on testimonies from passengers on the plane, the second pilot managed to stop the attempt with the help of passengers.
The aircraft was subsequently diverted to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, where it made an emergency landing.
The reports have not been independently confirmed.
