ADEX 2026, the 6th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition, and Securex Caspian, the 15th International Exhibition for Internal Security, Protection and Rescue Equipment, have kicked off, the Ministry of Defense Industry told APA.
It was noted that the opening ceremony of the three-day exhibition, held at the Baku Expo Center at the initiative and under the organization of the Ministry of Defense Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with organizational support from Caspian Event Organisers, was attended by state and government officials, delegations from foreign countries, and representatives of other relevant institutions.
Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense Industry Vugar Mustafayev welcomed the participants and read out a letter of greetings from President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the exhibition participants.

On September 30, the official opening ceremony of ADEX 2026 – the 6th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition, a major military-technological platform in the Caucasus region bringing together global powers of the defence industry, and the 15th International Exhibition for Internal Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment “Securex Caspian,” held in parallel, took place at the Baku Expo Center, APA reports.
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defence Industry Vugar Mustafayev delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.
The participants and guests of the exhibition then took part in a VIP tour.
It was noted that ADEX, in addition to being one of the largest exhibitions of military equipment and weapons in the region, is a showcase of modern military technologies and equipment, as well as the strength and power of Azerbaijan’s defence industry complex.
Since the first years of its organization, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev’s visits to ADEX to closely familiarize himself with the exhibition and his messages of greetings to the participants and guests of the event have been a manifestation of the high level of attention paid to the exhibition at the state level. This not only demonstrates the great confidence placed in the exhibition, but also confirms its status as Azerbaijan’s national brand with international prestige.
