Anti-terror operation completed full restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity - Speaker

The Victory march launched by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened a new era in the history of the country. The Victory achieved in the 44-day Patriotic War led to the liberation of most of our cities and villages from the 30-year occupation by the Republic of Armenia and ensured the restoration of our state's territorial integrity, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova said at today's parliamentary meeting, APA reports.

“The local anti-terror operation conducted in September 2023 completed the most important stage in fully ensuring Azerbaijan's territorial integrity. The sovereignty of our state was fully restored, and the constitutional order of our country was ensured.

These historic achievements embody the results of the development strategy defined by National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the successful continuation of this policy by President, Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. The Azerbaijani people express their deep gratitude to the Victorious Commander-in-Chief, who achieved the historic Victory over the enemy, and to our courageous soldiers and officers. The cherished memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland and the people will always be held in the highest esteem and will never be forgotten,” the speaker said.
