The number of Azerbaijani citizens serving prison sentences in Georgia stands at 199, APA's local bureau reports, citing the August report of the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
According to the document, 64 Azerbaijani citizens, including 57 men and 7 women, are accused persons, while 135, including 118 men and 17 women, are convicts.
There are 76 Azerbaijani citizens under probation supervision in Georgia, including 67 men and 9 women.
A total of 1,741 foreign citizens are held in prisons in the neighboring country, while 716 foreigners are under probation supervision.
