Tax exemptions have been established in connection with the Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum to be held in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
This is reflected in amendments to the Tax Code, the implementation of which was approved by President Ilham Aliyev through a signed decree.
In connection with the holding of the Thirteenth Session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13) in the Republic of Azerbaijan, royalty income paid by the body (institution) designated by the relevant executive authority to a non-resident legal entity, under a contract concluded with that entity for the use of copyrights over intangible assets or for granting the right to use such copyrights, will be granted a tax exemption for a period of one year starting from September 1, 2025.
