The forum provides an opportunity to expand investment cooperation among the countries of the region, Samet Akyüz, a participant of the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2026) and representative of the Investment and Finance Office of the President of Türkiye, told APA.
He said the main goal is to discuss opportunities for cooperation in jointly promoting investment opportunities in the region and attracting investments that will contribute to the development of regional countries.
“We exchanged views on promoting investment opportunities in our region and attracting investments that will benefit the region’s economy. Quite good proposals were put forward,” Samet Akyüz noted.
The Turkish representative emphasized that there are opportunities for cooperation with the investment agencies of other countries in various fields.
“Investors from our countries can go to these regions, Azerbaijani investors can go to other regions, and Turkish investors can come to these areas, thereby creating more added value and more employment,” he added.
