Microsoft founder Bill Gates expressed the opinion that artificial intelligence technologies could trigger events resulting in the deaths of 1 billion people, APA reports citing NBC News.
"AI is certainly powerful enough to drive events that, you know, cause a billion deaths," the philanthropist said in an interview with NBC, explaining that artificial intelligence could be used by people "with bad intentions."
