United States President Donald Trump confirmed on Friday that he will meet his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping again in November, in China, and then at the G20 summit in December, in Miami, APA reports.
"President Xi and Madam Peng have just left D.C., heading for China. The meeting was one of Friendship, Strength, and Success, for both China and the USA," Trump said in a post on Truth Social. "Much has been, and will be, accomplished. I look forward to our next meeting," he added.
The US president previously boasted "tremendous strides" that were made during Xi's visit to Washington, adding that he sees a "brighter future" for the two countries. He also told reporters that he discussed Iran with the Chinese president and claimed that "we're going to do great" when it comes to the Strait of Hormuz.
