The feasibility study for the “Central Asia–Azerbaijan Green Energy Corridor” is expected to be completed in May 2027, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov said during the session titled “Regional Energy Connectivity and Green Transition: Challenges and Opportunities” held as part of the Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2026), APA reports.
The Minister said that work on the “Central Asia–Azerbaijan Green Energy Corridor” is progressing rapidly.
According to him, the project is planned to be commissioned in 2032.
Parviz Shahbazov noted that the implementation of the project will create opportunities to bring Central Asia’s green energy potential to regional and European markets via Azerbaijan.
