Funds amounting to 9 million 566 thousand manats have been allocated from the Reserve Fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, envisaged in the state budget for 2026, to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for the continuation of restoration and conservation works at the Momine Khatun Mausoleum located in the city of Nakhchivan, APA reports.
President Ilham Aliyev signed an order in this regard.
The order was signed based on Clause 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the aim of continuing the comprehensive restoration and conservation works of the Momine Khatun Mausoleum, an outstanding example of 12th-century Azerbaijani architecture.
According to the order, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan must ensure the financing in the amount specified in Part 1 of the order, while the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan must resolve the issues arising from the order.
