An initial 1.6 million (one million six hundred thousand) manats have been allocated from the Reserve Fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as envisaged in the 2026 state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to the State Committee on Work with Religious Institutions for the preparation of design and cost estimate documentation and the implementation of restoration and repair works at the Juma Mosque located in the city of Ganja, APA reports.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an Order in this regard.
According to the order, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan should ensure financing in the amount specified in Part 1 of this order, and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan should resolve issues arising from this order.
