A panel session titled “Sustainable Solutions in Transport Infrastructure in the Media Sphere” was held within the framework of the II Forum on “Social Processes in the Media Landscape,” organized by the Media Development Agency, APA reports.
The panel was moderated by Saida Shafiyeva, Head of the Communication Department of the Media Development Agency. Speakers included representatives from the Main State Traffic Police Department, Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC, Baku Metro CJSC, and the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency.
During the session, participants discussed the proper and effective communication of initiatives aimed at sustainable development in the transport sector, the strengthening of information exchange between media outlets and relevant state entities, and the institutional development of public communication.
The session also provided detailed information on measures taken to ensure environmental sustainability in transport infrastructure, enhance safety and service quality in public transport, and raise awareness among road users. Speakers underlined that in today’s information environment, transparent and comprehensive communication of these initiatives through the media plays a crucial role in shaping public opinion.
