He said contracts have already been signed for purchasing of technical equipments from the United States and Germany. Abdullayev said a new office was constructed for the new channel near ATV building.
According to him, ATV International will broadcast in 4-5 languages. “Exactly, the channel will broadcast in Russian and English, but other languages were not confirmed yetâ€. ATV Vice President said the company wouldn’t be in need of linguists. “There are very good linguistic specialists in Baku Slavic University and we will use their potentialâ€.
On March 5, 2009 the Azerbaijan National TV and Radio Broadcasting Council gave a six-year license to ATV Broadcasting Company for satellite airing of ATV International.
