List of nominees of the Council of Owners, youth organizations and woman societies for ITV Broadcasting Council submitted to Milli Majlis

List of candidates nominated by the Council of Owners, youth organizations and women societies to the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Council was submitted to Milli Majlis, Azerbaijani parliament, National TV and Radio Council told APA. According to Article 17.4 of the Law on Public Television and Radio Broadcasting, in connection with ending 4-year term of the members of the ITV Broadcasting Council from the Council of Owners, youth organizations and women societies, the National TV and Radio Council have taken organizational measures under Article 7.4 of Regulations on the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting and paragraph 3.1 of the presidential decree on the implementation of the law of Azerbaijan Republic on the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting. On March 5 and 10, the Council of Owners nominated Namig Muradov (Director of Kaspel Company), Emin Nasibov (Director of Aikon Company), youth organizations â€“ Fuad Muradov (Chairman of the Scientific Society of the Historian-Sturdents), Ilgar Orujov (Azerbaijan Society of Young Scholars and Masters of Arts), women societies â€“ Zarifa Salahova (Chairwoman of the Baku Association of Azerbaijani Women), Mahira Amirhuseynova (Chairwoman of â€œWomen of 21st Centuryâ€ Society), Gulara Teymourova (Chairwoman of â€œDanâ€ Public Union) . According to articles 17.6 and 17.2 of the Law on Public Television and Radio Broadcasting, one candidate from each organization will be approved for six-year term.
