We have not closed the foreign stations in Azerbaijan. We simply got back the frequency that we gave them in 2007. They can continue broadcasting the way that they had done before,” chairman of National Television and Radio Council Nushiravan Maharramli said, APA reports. He said that they did not intend to give frequency to the foreign radio stations. Maharramli said foreign radio stations could get short waves, if they wanted. Nushiravan Maharramli said FM resources were destined for national organizations and added that those frequencies might be given to new radios.
