Strong cataclysm happened in Azerbaijani mass media four years ago. Unexpectedly for all, when everything was going as usual in media, a new information agency appeared. Some were glad, some became sad and some others were even shocked. The majority thought this agency would become an archive like other media outlets. But those who founded this agency had quite a different ambition â€“ to be the first news provider in the country. This ambition required hard work, restless nights, strength and tireless persons. But it did not remain as an ambition only, it was realized, improvedâ€¦ So, APA, the leading news provider of Azerbaijan was established.
To break news is not a good thing. We have always been told about it. But the profession of some people is to break news. APA changed many things in media. The main thing is that APA awaked its colleagues, rivals. APA caused revival in media, the media outlets, agencies, news portals, which had almost been inactive for long years, began to work. There was a rival for all in Azerbaijani media â€“ APA. Some had a fair competition, others had a hostile attitude. But nothing could damage APA, because it had strong columns. APA with its accuracy, sincerity, unbiasedness made all to recognize itselfâ€¦
APA is so dear for me that I can not express it in words. It can only be compared with your child. I see APA growing, as a parent sees his child growing. My APA is four years old now. Four years is not a long period for a news provider. But I think that no news provider in the world is able to do what my child has done within four years in Azerbaijan. It requires a great courage to establish APA in a country like Azerbaijan. I think it is suffice to mention the â€œcolleaguesâ€, who misappropriate APAâ€™s news article, but say they do not like it, prefer dirty actions to fair competition. Though they say they do not like us, I know they envy APA in heart. I know that to establish an unbiased, reliable news provider accepted by the authorities, opposition and all classes of society like APA is their dream. But APA is a reality, not a dream. REALITY that spreads unbiased news to Azerbaijan and the whole worldâ€¦ This reality has the right to liveâ€¦
