Tahir Mammadov: â€œRATIâ€™s results shadow its monitoring abilityâ€

RATIâ€™s results shadow its ability to monitor such political campaign like presidential elections which is demanding responsibility. RATIâ€™s information about the Public Television is not truthâ€, said chief of public relations and monitoring department of the Public Broadcasting Company Tahir Mammadov in his interview with APA. Mammadov denied RATIâ€™s information that 97 per cent of the Public Televisionâ€™s programs dedicated to President Ilham Aliyev. â€œIt is clear that this announcement belongs to the person who knows nothing about the journalism and TV and radio broadcasting. RATIâ€™s information doesnâ€™t base on the serious and concrete facts. They have to know that there are professional monitoring groups and international organizations and such so called monitoring is a loss of time against their backgroundâ€. Mammadov said the Public Television accepted mostly results of monitoring conducted by the experts of Najaf Najafov Foundation, OSCE Baku Office and BBC.
