We are the member of the Council of Europe and we have signed European Convention on Human Rightsâ€, Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova told APA.
She stated that reforms were taken on human rights.
“Media representatives should obey etiquettes, rights on media and respect nation and national values. The state should not eliminate the freedom of speech. We appealed to the President for pardoning journalists and 6 journalists were releasedâ€, she said.
