Ali Hasanov comments on competition held by Fund of State Support for Development of Mass Media

But I think the first project implemented by the Fund of State Support for the Development of Mass Media under President may be praised,â€ Chief of Socio-Political Department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov said, APA reports. Taking a stance on the discontent about the results the competition held by the Fund of State Support for the Development of Mass Media, department chief said:
â€œThe Fund has been established recently. There are some difficulties. Particularly there are problems in the classification of mass media. It is difficult to classify which media outlet ensures transparency of the society, provides people with information. But there is Press Council, Journalistsâ€™ Union, media outlets operating for many years in Azerbaijan. The public is aware of their activity,â€ he said.

Ali Hasanov said the case of the media outlets that failed to get high points in the competition will be considered individually.
â€œWe think that those who are dissatisfied with the present grant competition may be satisfied in the forthcoming competition and those who are satisfied now may be dissatisfied tomorrow,â€ he said.
