Nushiravan Maharramli: “ANS has disgraced itself, no one needs to bring shame on it†– INTERVIEW
- We have all audio recordings of the program we have issued the oral warning. The program of ANS CM violated national, moral values, ethic norms several times. The radio station violated article 32.0.9 of the law on “Television and radio†on protecting national and moral values and Special Rules of the NTRC on cases damaging physical, mental and moral upbringing of children and juveniles. Discussions on erotic and pornographic films were held in one of the programs. We have issued then oral warning. If they take no notice of this warning, then this is a very bad tendency.
- ANS Vice President said the NTRC’s decision was a part of campaign directed to disgrace ANS.
- ANS has disgraced itself, no one needs to bring shame on it. If discussions on erotic and pornographic films are held in other channels, such penalties will be inflicted on them as well. Penalty inflicted on ANS is very light, we will reconsider this issue.
- Mirshahin Agayev said ANS didn’t react to the groundless decisions by the National Broadcasting Council for three years, but further would immediately react to the decision of the council. He called on the Council to be responsible and to deny its decision on ANS ÇM…
-I am regretful of that. Let the people like Mirshahin to study again if they don’t know the national-spiritual values.
- What is the situation related to other radio stations? Do you see such law violations in other stations?
- The TV and radio stations are monitored regularly, but such cases were not identified. ANS ÇM put the question: do you watch pornography films? The listeners were asked with this question within an hour. They were instigating the listeners. There were no such cases in other stations.
- TV channels violate the Council’s decision to protect the national language sometime. Will the Council make a decision on that?
- We noted that these cases are allowed during the broadcasting of the presidents’ meetings and educational programs as well.
