APA Director General begins visit to Council of Europe

APAâ€™s Europe bureau reports that the visit is being realized at the invitation of the CE Directorate of Communication.

Vusala Mahirgizi acquainted herself with the agencyâ€™s new bureau in the main office of the Council of Europe.

APA is the first and the only agency from the CIS that has office in the Council of Europe. 13 world-famous media organizations such as Turkey-based NTV channel, Reuters, Agence France-Presse have offices in the Council of Europe, APA is one of them.

APA Director General will meet with Deputy Head of the CE Directorate of Communication Alun Drake, Press Officer of the Directorate of Communication Can Fisek, Head of Public Relations Division Jeremy Moakes, spokesperson for CE Venice Commission Tatiana Mishelova, Head of the PACE Communication Unit Micaela Catalano, spokesperson for CE Human Rights Commissioner Stefano Montanari, spokesperson for the European Court of Human Rights Stefano Piedimonte, spokesperson for the CE Congress of Local and Regional Authorities Dimitri Marchenkov and head of Permanent Azerbaijani Representation to the Council of Europe Arif Mammadov.
