Chairman and vice chairman of Observation Council of the Fund of State Support for the Development of Mass Media under the President of Azerbaijan elected

Members of the Observation Council met with the Chief of Public Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov before the meeting, APA reports. Hasanov congratulated the Council members and spoke about the Fund duties.

The Observation Council elected its chairman and vice chairman at the meeting in the Press Council. Member of the Observation Council Aflatun Amashov nominated chairman of the International Eurasian Press Fund Umid Mirzayev to the post of chairman and editor-in-chief of â€œIki Sahilâ€ newspaper Vugar Rahimzadeh â€“ to vice chairman.

The council members unanimously voted for Mirzayev and Rahimzadeh.

The second issue on agenda was related to the organizing of the Fundâ€™s activity. The Council members expressed their opinions about the legal and technical issues ahead of the organization. The Fundâ€™s registration, relevant normative documents, directions of activity and other issues were also discussed at the meeting.
