Baku. Kamala Guliyeva â€“ APA. The National TV and Radio Council will organize event on the role of TV channels in the extreme situations, the Councilâ€™s chairman Nushiravan Maharramli told APA. He said the reaction of TV channels to the tragic events at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy made it necessary. â€œI was not satisfied with the reaction of TV channels to the events at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy. The event was unexpected for us and most people didnâ€™t know what happened there and TV channels did have to create shocking effect and show bloody scenes without the specified information. It was a serious problem and the reports had to be specified and then delivered to the population. Unfortunately our TV channels are not completely professional. Therefore the National TV and Radio Council has to make recommendations on the TVâ€™s activity during the extreme situationsâ€.

Maharramli said the Council would discuss this problem with the TV managers and experts.
