The Prosecutor General’s Office told APA that the body of Hokmali resident Elmira Dadashova was found with numerous injuries caused by cutting tools in her house #33 at A.Vahid street on August 14 at 13:00.
Absheron District Prosecutor’s Office has launched criminal case under the article #120.1 (premeditated murder) and urgent investigative and search operations were conducted to solve the crime.
Joint measures of regional law-enforcement bodies solved without delay the crime committed under uncertain conditions. Hokmali resident, 31-year-old Abbasov Alagif Arif, who is accused of committing the crime and was formerly sentenced over drug trafficking, was detained. Abbasov admitted his criminal act and handed the crime tool – knife to the investigation.
Investigation is currently underway.
Dadashova was wife of Agil Dadashov, deputy chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation.
