Former chairman of Board of Directors of "Sheki-Ipek" OJSC declared internationally wanted

APA reports quoting the website of Interpol that 56-year old Uzbek citizen Akberov Marat Sultanovich is accused of fraud. Currently, measures are being taken to detain him.

 

APA reports that Marat Akberov was a chairman of board of directors of "Sheki-Ipek" OJSC. Marat Akberov was dismissed and Azad Shikhaliyev correspondingly appointed as a chairman at the meeting of Supervisory Board of "Sheki-Ipek" OJSC in 2011.

 

Marat Akberov reportedly has a large amount of debt to banks in Azerbaijan.

 

Azerbaijan’s law-enforcement bodies have declared wanted one more Uzbek businessman, 66-year old Nabi Shadiyev. Shadiyev was one of the partners of Sheki-Ipek OJSC.

 

Shadiyev, having large debts to the banks, has left the country taking his shares.
