Spokesperson for Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry Irada Ibrahimova told APA that according to initial versions, the fire broke out after the oil truck owned by Salyan Oil Company passed by the park, the fire spread due to the wind. The fire covers about 100 ha area.
Employees of the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry and local agencies were immediately sent to the site.
