Car falls off bridge in Azerbaijan, 5 dead - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED

The dead and injured were identified

Ganja. Azer Mammadli - APA. A fatal incident occurred in Samukh district of Azerbaijan which resulted in death of 5 persons.

APA’s Ganja bureau reports that VAZ-2106 car fell off a bridge over Ganja River.

Three persons out of the 11 people in thee car died on the spot, while others injured. A minor was taken to Ganja City Children's Hospital. The other 7 were taken to Ganja City Emergency Medical Aid Station.

Two more injured died at the hospital.

The dead and injured were identified:

Zohrab Mammadov (driver)

Maral Ismayilova

Hijran Ismayilova

Kafya Ismayilova

Maleyka Hasanova (minor)

Fatima Mammadova (3-year-old), Namila Ismayilova, Ragsana Mammadova and Zohra Mammadova were seriously injured and Sanan Huseynov (10-year-old) and Yusif Verdiyev (2-year-old) were injured slightly. The dead and injured were members of a family, and on the way back from mourning ceremony of their relative.

Samukh District Police Department is investigating the fact.

Note that Ganja River dried up.
