Some media outlets have recently reported that the Georgian Prosecutor General’s Office has submitted a petition to the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office to provide legal aid to the investigations carried out regarding former Prime Minister of Georgia Vano Merabishvili.
We say that these reports are groundless and no questionnaire or petition was received by Azerbaijan in this regard.
