Baku – APA. Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has today hosted a ceremony dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Azerbaijani police.
APA reports that Azerbaijani President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev also attended the ceremony.
Interior Minister, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov reported to the Head of state at the Police Academy.
President Ilham Aliyev laid flowers at the monument to Heydar Aliyev on the main square of the Academy.
Following this, the President cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the Heydar Aliyev Center.
The President was familiarized with the condition in the center and met with employees of the Interior Ministry.
President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Ilham Aliyev delivered a speech at the ceremony.
